What will it take for professional women to succeed in Japan and how Corporate and Public policies can contribute effectively to closing the gender gap ? You will hear from our speakers and round table about leadership and best practices in current political context in Japan.

Georges Desvaux (Managing Partner, McKinsey Japan) will provide us with a perspective about the situation of women in Japanese companies.

Kuni Sato (Press Secretary, Japan Foreign Office), will share her experience as civil servant currently Director General for Press and Public Diplomacy.

Kaori Sasaki (CEO of eWoman, board member of WIB) will explain what it takes to become a leader in Corporate Japan.

Guest speakers

 

Kaori Sasaki established UNICUL International, Inc., a communication consultancy in 1987 and eWoman Inc., an influential think tank and consultancy that provides marketing, product development, and training to major corporations in 2000. She also serves on several corporate boards and on councils of various Ministries.

Kuni Sato joined the Foreign Office in 198, and has dealt with issues in international laws and international economic affairs.

Georges Desvaux, managing partner at McKinsey Japan, will share with us some of the insights of Mc Kinsey annual survey Women Matters, an Asian perspective 2013.
